this is the sunset on the boat from pei to nova scotia on aug 6th.  well, spineride canada comes to a conclusion for 2008.  thank you to everyone who helped, supported and/or encouraged us.  we would to thank to god, our wives and families for putting up with us and our adventures, bobby white and the rest of the cpa.  we really enjoyed talking, laughing and playing with the warm friendly people we met with spinal cord injuries. thank you.

Hey Renato, Brian and Reg!
It's good to see that the ride came to a safe end, though Renato it appears that bug gave you quite a beating.
I arrived in St.John's yesterday, and oddly enough the sun was shining, which was quite different from the constant rain that the Atlantic provinces dumped on us.

I'm definitely interested in cycling next year, so feel free to send me off an email anytime.

okay, take care, and I hope you're relaxing

Well it's been over a week and I dont know about you guys but I am proud of all of us for meeting our objective. I've had a chance to read all the blogs and in hind sight it would have been nice if maybe Brian and I had offered some more input, but ces't la vie!
Outside of some issues with the RV and trying to maintain it and even though I played the referee every now and then, it was a great experience and I am glad I did it!(Seriously)
I'd like to thank the people we met from the CPA, David Hinton for being a gentleman, Mitch and Barry for your fine hospitality and maybe the hi-lite for me "The Calgary Stampede", Don and Clayton from Sask...Good Luck Clayton in Beijing!!, Mertyl for the great reception in Charlottetown and the free ferry pass, Pam in Halifax and most importantly Bobby White. It was great getting to know you thru out this trip Bobby and I'd like to thank you for your hospitality, dinners and friendship, say hi to Kevin and Johnny for me...they made for great company!
For everyone we met along the way, hope your adventures were successful and you arrived home safely. Congrats Aaron.....hey I still think you should have taken the free ride on the RV!!!!!
This trip proved to be very insightful and rewarding, I will forever be grateful and proud to be the least bit associated with the CPA and the outstanding work they do getting people back into the community.
To Brian/s friends and family we met along the way, all of you could'nt be more friendly and hospitable... Thanks! To Brian's mom, those blueberry muffins must have been good.....they were gone by morning and I was only luck enough to try one!!
To Renato and Brian's families....thanks for your support and kindness....I know you must be proud of the guys....and glad to have them back to work/home!!
I'd like to thank my family for allowing me this opportunity, for listening to all my calls, for their support and love, and I am very proud of all the hard work they all did at home while I was gone.
I'm sure guys we will keep in touch, thanks for the scrapbook Renato that was very cool and very much appreciated.
Hope everything worked out for you Brian when you got home......did you get back on with Darlington??
Finally, my goal for us as a team, was to meet our committments for a very INCREDIBLE cause, to raise awareness and hopefully funds for a GREAT organization and to finish the ride SAFELY.....congratulations!
Seeing Brian meet his brother in Halifax made this whole trip incredibly worthwhile and the problems we had trivial....I will never forget it!!!!
I also wanted to see this country....its more beautiful then I could have imagined.(especially Banff area....even if you disagreed Brian! Everyone we met from coast to coast was great!
I had hoped to make new friendships and I know that I have done just that.
Hope I have the chance to talk to most of you again.
Renato and Brian....I'll talk to you soon....thanks for asking me to drive the bus and hopefully we can do this again......just kidding! Thanks all!!!
And remember its never too late to give to the CPA and its causes.
